The Students of Students of Honor and Achievement Awards Program is sponsored by the Shawnee Optimist Club. This awards program is designed to recognize individuals who have displayed a desire to perform at their very best in everything they choose to do. As such, they are exceptional role models, exhibiting outstanding qualities as high school seniors. The award also recognizes those students who have demonstrated outstanding leadership skills inside and outside the classroom, in school and community volunteerism, academic accomplishments and have excelled in achieving many of the characteristics outlined in the Optimist Creed.
