Our LCC Faculty embodied the spirit of Lead, Serve, Excel today at the West Ohio Food Bank! They filled 11 pallets with 400 boxes of food they carefully assembled. These boxes will help those in need within our community. A huge thank you to their hard work and commitment!

Then, come and indulge in the sweet world of Willy Wonka at the Lima Civic Center on Saturday at 7:30pm or Sunday at 2pm (https://www.flyhightbirds.com/HTtickets). Please note: Due to our advancement in the tournament, the Friday performance of Willy Wonka has been canceled. Any tickets previously purchased can be used for admission on Saturday or Sunday. If you have purchased a ticket for Friday's performance and are unable to attend one of the other performances please email swatkins@apps.lcchs.edu.

8 sophomore girls attended the OSU Lima Stem Steps Day Monday, March 11. They heard from a keynote speaker who is a woman in medicine. They also experienced several hands-on workshops all related to the field of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. It was a great day of learning!

Congratulations to our top 4 scorers on the last Catholic Math League contest of the school year. First place with 12 points: Alexa Heffner, Emily Morrisey and Mya Raczynski. Second place, just shy with 11 points, was Jacob Raczynski! Way to fly high Thunderbirds!

Congratulations to Olivia Hinegardner, Stella Ellis, and Olivia Venturella for best presentation of their quadrilateral… The trapezoid! Each group was assigned a quadrilateral to present to the class for fun and unique way. These girls made a fun board game that included trivia, and a great review of all of the mathematical properties of a trapezoid. Congratulations!
