Through offering meaningful liturgy and prayer experiences, we hope to deepen the faith of our students and move them more fully into a life of discipleship. Celebration of the Eucharist is the heart of our faith and we have mass every week we are in school. We celebrate Mass as an entire faith community on Thursdays and in the morning before school on Tuesdays and Fridays.
The sacrament of Reconciliation is made available to students at school-wide Penance services held during Advent and Lent.
It is important that an LCC student find a way to practice independence and assume leadership in their faith life. Whether that be by becoming an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, singing or playing in the Praise & Worship Band, reading at mass, or being an active participant in the celebration.
We are fortunate to have daily pastoral support by our local Lima Catholic community priests. We also have a Campus Minister and two other full-time faculty who make up our Theology Department and are in the building every day, available to our students.
