MAJOR congratulations are in order for Dante Turney. He is the first student in LCC's history to get a perfect score on a Catholic Math League contest. This contest is challenging because there are 25 multiple choice problems (with 5 answers) and students only have 30 minutes to work them out. Jacob Raczynski and Alexa Heffner also had amazing scores, only missing 4 problems! Anytime a student scores over a 20 on this contest, I am blown away!!! Way to fly high Thunderbirds!!! If you are a former student and you scored a 20 or above on a CML in the past, feel free to tag yourself in this post! Would love to hear what our mathematicians are up to these days!!!

A paws-itively great way to start the day 🐾
Thanks to the support of the PPA Group, our students enjoyed a stress-reducing visit from therapy dogs just in time for exams. A special thank you to the Crisis Response Team for bringing their incredible dogs to campus to help ease anxiety and create calm, positive connections for our students.
While these dogs are primarily trained for crisis response, visits like this help build familiarity and comfort in everyday moments too.
Duke and Dolly stole the show! 💙

Our last 2 math contests of the year have been exciting! For the first Catholic Math League contest of the season, Jacob Raczynski scored in first place, Dante Turney in second with Alexa Heffner and Olivia Venturella tying for third place. And for our 4th Ohio Math League contest, Dante scored first place with Laney Scheckelhoff and Jacob Raczynski tying for second place. Way to go Thunderbirds!!!

PPA group’s Stress Less Week ended with Yoga with the Grinch. Thanks to our mystery grinch student volunteer for making it extra special.
