Miss Brunelle’s Sophomore Theology class took learning beyond the classroom as they presented their research on how Catholicism is lived out in cultures around the world
This project is more than just a presentation, it’s an important step as they begin building the skills and confidence needed for their Senior Capstone projects. We are proud of their thoughtful work and the way they continue to grow in faith, knowledge, and understanding.

We were honored to welcome Mr. Matt C. Huffman '78, Speaker of the Ohio House of Representatives, to Lima Central Catholic to speak with our Teen Leadership class!
Speaker Huffman shared meaningful insights on leadership, resilience, and making a positive impact. Mr. Huffman offered our students real-world advice they can carry with them well beyond the classroom. His message challenged our students to grow as leaders, serve others, and stay grounded in their values.
As a special surprise, students even had the opportunity to speak with Governor Mike DeWine by speakerphone, an exciting and memorable moment for everyone involved!
As a proud supporter of School Choice, we are incredibly grateful for the work Speaker Huffman has done to advocate for opportunities that benefit students and families across Ohio.
Speaker Huffman is a true example of what it means to be a Thunderbird, and we thank him for taking the time to invest in our students!
