The juniors had the opportunity to strengthen their faith and build closer connections with their classmates during their retreat. This experience is a significant step in both their spiritual and personal growth!

Lima Central Catholic was saddened to hear the passing of, Mr. James (Jim) Carder, a cherished member of our Lima Central Catholic family, who dedicated countless years of service to our school. As a long time educator, coach, mentor and friend there is no doubt the positive impact he had on the students of LCC. Anatomy and Physiology reviewed macromolecules by playing a game. Students had to correctly place examples or descriptions of proteins, carbohydrates, nucleic acids and lipids under each heading on the board. Yellow team won both rounds! To end Start with Hello week students passed on the positivity with positive notes clipped on each other. They were encouraged to pass it on. Also, today, we had our Walk and Talk Suicide Prevention Walk. Seniors were paired with freshmen, and juniors were paired with sophomores. These will be their buddies that they meet with throughout the school year. It was great to see so many new connections made!

Yesterday was Well-Being Wednesday for Start with Hello Week. Students wrote positive sticky notes on each other's lockers.

Tickets for Friday Night's Football Game at Ft. Loramie will be paper tickets only. Presale tickets can be purchased at the school Business office or (walk-up window) until Friday at 2 PM. The presale prices are: $4.00 for students and $6.00 for adults. Tickets can also be purchased at the gate with cash only. All tickets at the gate will be $8.00. Today, for "Start with Hello Week", students were greeted by our PPA (Positive Peer Advocates) Club this morning with some fruit to start the day out right!

"Meet and Greet" Monday was yesterday and started our week of "Start with Hello Week." Students created name tags with an adjective to match the letter of their first names. This created an inclusive environment where everyone knows each other's names.
