A paws-itively great way to start the day 🐾
Thanks to the support of the PPA Group, our students enjoyed a stress-reducing visit from therapy dogs just in time for exams. A special thank you to the Crisis Response Team for bringing their incredible dogs to campus to help ease anxiety and create calm, positive connections for our students.
While these dogs are primarily trained for crisis response, visits like this help build familiarity and comfort in everyday moments too.
Duke and Dolly stole the show! 💙

Our last 2 math contests of the year have been exciting! For the first Catholic Math League contest of the season, Jacob Raczynski scored in first place, Dante Turney in second with Alexa Heffner and Olivia Venturella tying for third place. And for our 4th Ohio Math League contest, Dante scored first place with Laney Scheckelhoff and Jacob Raczynski tying for second place. Way to go Thunderbirds!!!

Esmeralda Baldwin and her Coton de Tulear, Polly Pocket have already experienced success during their first day of the AKC National Championship! Esme and Polly are among over 5,000 teams competing this week at various conformation events including one just for puppies on Friday (Polly is only 9 months old)!
On the first day, Esme and Polly finished with a major win and 5 points (the most any dog can receive).
Many events are being televised by AKC TV, and you may catch Esme and Polly during one of their many shows.

A talented quintet of LCC students opened the event with a beautiful performance of the National Anthem, showcasing the dedication and spirit of our Thunderbird musicians. We were also excited to have senior Jacob Raczynski assist with the day’s activities—an incredible opportunity made possible through his year-long internship in the Mayor’s Office.
