Claire Wolfcale proudly represented LCC at the Chrism Mass celebrated by Bishop Daniel E. Thomas at Holy Rosary Cathedral. Held annually during Holy Week, the Chrism Mass is a significant liturgy in which the bishop blesses the holy oils used in sacraments such as Baptism, Confirmation, Anointing of the Sick, and Holy Orders, including the consecration of the Sacred Chrism. The Mass also highlights the unity of the diocese as priests renew their promises of service.

The 4th Catholic Math League contest of the year is the last one for our season. How appropriate that our top 3 scorers are all seniors! What a way to end their high school math contest career. Jacob Raczynski came in first place, Dante Turney was second and Alexa Heffner in third place. We couldn't be more proud of these dedicated, hard working students! Way to fly high one last time!!!

Pi (pie) day, 2026 was celebrated last Thursday at lunch. Mu Alpha Theta sold slices of pie to help students and staff appreciate the importance of math in the real world. Thank you to everyone who participated. We were able to make enough money to fund the competitions we will have next school year. Thank you to parents and students who sent in pies. It wouldn't be successful without everyone's help!
