It was a great day Friday as we welcomed Bishop Thomas to Lima Central Catholic for a visit! During his visit he celebrated an all school Mass, held a thoughtful Q&A and enjoyed lunch with a group of students and faculty!

Congratulations to our LCC top placers in this year's annual AMC 10 and 12 math contest. The 25 question multiple choice test was given on November 8th. Divisions are made for Freshmen/Sophomores (AMC 10) and Juniors/Seniors (AMC 12). LCC's 1st place in the AMC 12 was Nate Niemeyer, 2nd place Carson Caprella and 3rd place Sam Mayers. For the AMC 10, 1st place was Alexa Heffner, 2nd Dante Turney and 3rd JJ Declercq. Fly High Thunderbirds!!

Congratulations to these bright mathematicians! In the first Catholic Math League contest of the year, Mya Raczynski placed first, Alexa Heffner came in a close second, and right behind her was Caitlyn Purvenas! Way to go Lady Thunderbirds!!!
The international students were able to go to Cuyahoga National Park this weekend. They visited Brandywine Falls, a marsh and did some apple picking to enjoy the beautiful fall weather.
