AP Biology students planted cucumbers, broccoli, lettuce and carrots from seeds and are transplanting their young plants to take home. They will be monitoring growth, experimenting with growth factors and completing other work as their final project for the year.
The Lima Exchange Club luncheon recognized Preston Smith as a winner of the Accepting the Challenge of Excellence Award! The award recognizes high school students who seldom gain recognition but who have made a dramatic change in their attitude and academic performance during their high school years.

The MARCH MADNESS portion of the Auction is new this year! The auction items are the teams (or the pairings of teams) in the 2022 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament. We are challenging you to select, bid on, and buy the teams that you believe will advance the furthest in this year’s tournament. This is a progressive game, so the further your team(s) advance(s), the more cash you will win. A payout will be commensurate with the total amount bid through the evening.
Hint: Plan ahead! Partner with your friends to create a larger pool of resources to win the bid for your favorite team(s). When the bidding heats up, partner with other buddies. Don’t let anyone else get the team(s) you really want – form a betting syndicate with your most savvy basketball friends and pool your funds.
