The "Victoria Anne Moening Memorial Scholarship" recipient is selected by four members of Lima Central Catholic High School's staff. He/She is selected on criteria determined by Vicki's Husband, Dan Moening '74 and her three children Megan (Moening)Isenbarger '01, Monica (Moening) Donley '05 and Daniel Moening '10.
The student chosen leads a faith-based life, shows school spirit, and is willing to help others without being asked. The candidate will put others first, and leads by example in and outside the classroom.
This year's recipient of the scholarship is Emma Hunley. Emma has met and exceeded the requirements to receive this award. Her faith is important to her, and does not shy away from showing that. It is obvious each and every day, that she cares about all of the students and staff at Lima Central Catholic. She is a student who puts others first and makes sure that people are taken care of.
