Business Summer Camp @ OSU - Located in Columbus. Applications are due at the end of March.
Ohio Business Week @ Ohio University - Current high school students. Must have a 2.5 cum GPA.
Summer Scholars Program @ Miami University - For academically-talented rising juniors and seniors. 2 sessions available both in July.
Pharmacy Day @ OSU - For all high school students interested in Pharmacy. Mid-April.
Veterinary Medicine Exploration @ OSU - For high school juniors and seniors. Mid-February.
Pre-College Academic Camps @ BGSU- Many different academic camps from music to forensic science to marine biology.
Girls Who Code @ OSU Lima - Open to grades 6-12. 3:30pm-5:00pm @ OSU Lima September-December
STEM Steps is an enriching and exciting day filled with hands-on activities in various STEM fields to encourage and stimulate an interest in science. Designed for high school sophomore and junior girls (10 girls from each high school), we welcome budding scientists, future engineers, the next generation coder, to campus to learn about and experience first-hand STEM-based curriculum and careers. Mercy College of Ohio Forensic Friday- During this event, students will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on Forensic Science
Accounting Careers Awareness Program (ACAP-Ohio) -is a week-long program for underrepresented high school students interested in exploring careers in accounting and business.
Notre Dame Summer Scholars-Summer Scholars participants spend two intense weeks in one of 24 exciting programs of study. We keep the classes small and personal attention from Notre Dame faculty high. The coursework is a true preview of college academics.
University of Michigan Summer Program-Joy of Coding- a new online course created especially for high school students to learn coding in ways that are better structured and better supported than other resources (including MOOCs) available online.
Summer Career Pathways Program- Prevention Awareness Support Services (PASS) is offering a five-week Mental Health Career Pathway Learning Program for youth in Allen, Auglaize, & Hardin Counties. Students explore career options in the mental health and social work fields, and can earn a total of $380 attending the program.
DBT STEPS-A- DBT Skills Training for Emotional Problem Solving for Adolescents (DBT STEPS-A) is a social emotional learning(SEL) curriculum developed by Dr. Mazza, Dr. Dexter-Mazza and colleagues for high school students (grades 9-12) in order to teach them effective emotion regulation, decision making, and problem-solving skills. Manufacturing Pre-Apprenticeship Program @ Rhodes- Through this program you can learn welding fundamentals, blueprint reading, and robotics fundamentals
Treating Addiction with Hope- Recovery from addiction can be a challenging and rewarding process for both the addict and those walking through it with them. This training will seek to equip attendees with an overview of the impact of addiction on the brain, phases of recovery, the role of the therapist, what may be contributing to their addiction, practical steps to help people make progress toward recovery, implementation of relapse prevention, faith in the midst of healing from addiction and how to utilize the power of relationship.
