Through offering meaningful liturgy and prayer experiences, we hope to deepen the faith of our students and move them more fully into a life of discipleship. Celebration of the Eucharist is the heart of our faith and we have mass every weekday we are in school. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday at 7:30 am in The Our Lady of Ephesus Chapel and on Thursday at 9:35 am in the Old Gym we celebrate as an entire faith community. We also have an All School Blessing at the end of school (3:00 pm) every Friday. The sacrament of a Reconciliation is available weekly to our students and school-wide Penance services are held during Advent and Lent. Eucharistic Adoration and recitation of the Rosary takes places numerous times throughout the school year.
It is important that an LCC student find a way to practice independence and assume leadership in their faith life. Whether that be by becoming an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, singing in Praise Band, reading at mass, or being an active participant in the celebration. We are fortunate to have daily pastoral support by our local Lima Catholic community priests. We also have an ordained Deacon, a Campus Minister and two other full-time faculty who make up our Theology Department and are in the building every day, available to our students.
On Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday mornings, Masses begin at 7:30 a.m. and conclude before the first bell rings for class at 8:00. The Masses are held in the Our Lady of Ephesus Chapel.
