Besides being alumni of LCC, Bob Seggerson spent 40 years working at the school as a teacher and a Basketball coach. Over his tenure, the Hall of Fame coach has racked up an impressive six trips to state and he retired from coaching following their Division III State Championship Game in 2010. Seggerson says he never had a bad day when he came to work at LCC, and a lot of that was due to the people around him.

"I was immersed in the culture here that was just perfect for me. My entire family, I come from a big family, our graduates of Lima Central Catholic. To me it’s just kind of a pride that I have, having been a student at such a great school,” says Bob Seggerson, Former LCC Basketball Coach. “To have the opportunity play a role in the lives of so many kids over 4 decades and the friendships I made and the lives that I touched, I wouldn’t trade it for the world.”

This is the 3rd distinguished alumni talk that the foundation has put on. The money raised from the event goes for scholarships for students to attend LCC.
