Bonjour and Buon giorno! I began my teaching career at LCC 25 years ago after graduating from Ohio Northern University. My husband Chris (LCC Class of 1980) and I have 7 children, Nathan (LCC Class of 2002), Becca, Samantha (LCC Class of 2014), Alexis, Jonathan, William, and Olivia.
In 2005 I was a member of the writing team for Ohio Department of Education's foreign language academic standards. I have two lessons and one unit posted on the IMS link of the ODE website. The lesson titles are "Les Repas" (Meals) and "Le Repas delicieux". The unit is on purchasing school supplies in France.
I just finished my term as Vice President of Public Relations for the Ohio Foreign Language Association - OFLA. OFLA is a professional organization for teachers of foreign languages in the state of Ohio.
Here at LCC, in addition to teaching French and Italian, I am the Marching Band Auxiliary Units coach. The Auxiliary units are the Feature Twirlers/Majorettes and the Flag Corps. I also am the Prom advisor.
