Welcome to the 2011-2012 school year at LCC! I am excited to return to LCC for my third year as a T-Bird!!
I graduated from Allen East High School and Bowling Green State University (dual certification in math and English). I then taught for six years before taking time off to be a stay-at-home mom. Now, I am in my third year at LCC, and I am teaching Algebra 2, Geometry, and Journalism this year.
My husband and I live in Allen East with our two boys, Jacob (8) and Joshua (almost 4), and our daughter Emily, who turned one in August. Jacob is in 3rd grade at Allen East this year, but he roots for "Mom's team" in addition to the Mustangs.
In addition to teaching the curriculum of my classes, I am very focused on enhancing the spiritual growth of my students. As a teacher in a Christian school, I am honored to serve the Lord in fostering my students' walk with Christ. My focus Scripture for this year is from 1 Corinthians 10:31: "Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God."
