Athletic Trainer
This is my first year at LCC as Head Athletic Trainer. I graduated from Kenton High School and attended Ohio Northern University where I received my Bachelor of Science, majoring in Athletic Training and minor in Exercise Physiology. While at ONU, I was a three year football letter winner, involved in the National Honorary Fraternity Phi Epsilon Kappa, and a Clyde Lamb Memorial Scholarship Recipient. Then I went on to receive my Master of Science at Middle Tennessee State University in Health Physical Education and Recreation with a concentration in Physical Education. While at MTSU, I was a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer covering Division 1 Football, Men’s and Women’s Cross Country, and Men’s and Women’s Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field. I have been married to Cindy (King) Downey for three years.
